Ray Frederick Djajadinata is a seasoned technology leader and partner with over two decades of experience in artificial intelligence (AI), product development, and financial technology.

As a Technology Partner at Alpha JWC Ventures, Ray focuses on high-growth tech investments, particularly in AI and deep-tech sectors. He leverages his extensive experience to help founders navigate the complexities of scaling technology-driven businesses in the rapidly evolving Southeast Asian market.

Prior to joining Alpha JWC, Ray served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Traveloka from 2020 to 2024, where he spearheaded the company’s technological transformation. Under his leadership, Traveloka implemented cutting-edge AI solutions to enhance customer experiences and optimize operations across Southeast Asia’s leading travel platform.

Ray’s career spans both established financial institutions and innovative startups. He spent over 15 years working with leading banks in Singapore and Hong Kong, gaining valuable insights into the intersection of finance and technology. His experience also includes contributions to startups during the late 1990s and early 2000s, giving him a unique perspective on the evolution of the tech ecosystem.

A strong advocate for responsible AI development, Ray actively participates in industry discussions and serves as a Program Advisor at the Artificial Intelligence Institute for Progress (AIIP) in Indonesia. He emphasizes the importance of ethical AI practices and the need for continuous talent development to meet the growing demands of the tech industry.
